About
I'm Aliya Hollub, a writer and creative based in New York, working across fashion, media, brand, and culture. I served as Editor-in-Chief of Strike, a fashion and culture magazine, where I led creative direction, brand voice, and editorial strategy. I've also interned at Purple PR in VIP and Influencer Relations, worked as a Product Coordinator at sustainable fashion start-up WE-AR4, and contributed nationally to Her Campus, a digital publication reaching 19 million monthly readers.
I studied American Culture Studies at Washington University in St. Louis, with a concentration in Popular Culture and a minor in Writing and Design. Essentially a degree in taking pop culture seriously.
Off the clock, I'm at the Whitney, people-watching in Washington Square Park, watching TV way past my bedtime, and horizontal with my Kindle. Basically the same thing, just off the clock. Also: aunt to three perfect nieces and nephews.
